Live music, face painting and a dog show all featured at a charity fete.

The Sandy Charity Fete was held earlier this month in aid of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) charity.

The music at the Bedford Road recreation ground event included performances from acoustic duo Ollie & Will, Sam Neighbour, Fences and Floodlights and Chronicle Country soloist Nick Moyster.

There was also portrait photography, cake sales, stalls, a raffle, fire engine and a beat the goalie game.

Entry was free and all proceeds will go towards the JDRF, a charity which is dedicated to improving the lives of people with type 1 diabetes and finding a cure for the condition.
