Students at a middle school had the chance to meet a top footballer after triumphing in a cheerleading competition.
Youngsters from Burgoyne Middle School in Potton won an award at the Bedfordshire Schools County Games – and also met England defender Casey Stoney.
Casey – who has been capped more than 100 times for England and also plays for Lincoln Ladies – chatted to students and talked about her achievements in the game.
Students from the Year 5 cheerleading team could also have their picture taken with Casey, who also captained the Team GB squad at London 2012.
Year 5 and 6 youngsters can also ride their bikes with confidence after passing their Level 2 Bikeability proficiency tests.
Young cyclists were taken out on roads around Potton for their tutoring and tests, after gathering in the playground at the Mill Lane school.
Bikeability is a cycling scheme which is designed to give the next generation of cyclists confidence and knowledge so they can stay safe on the roads.
