Biggleswade United have announced Mike Reardon as their new manager for the coming season, writes Mike Simmonds
The Molten Spartan SML Premier Division side made the appointment after former boss Phil Childs stepped up to the role of general manager and chairman.
Reardon, a UEFA B level coach, has been in charge of Braintree Town, Haverhill Rovers and Stanway Rovers previously in his career.
Reardon’s assistant will be Mark Royal, who was an apprentice at Chelsea under Ruud Gullit and Gianluca Vialli, and then joined Charlton Athletic before injury forced him out of the game.
United have also secured the services of Chris Lewis as the club’s physiotherapist for the new campaign.
A special pre-season event is being held at the club starts on Saturday, June 8 and if you’re interested in joining United, contact Childs on 07967 199730.
