Langford reached the North Beds Charity Cup Final after a penalty shoot out victory over near neighbours Biggleswade Town on Tuesday night.
On a bitterly cold evening, the Waders only had three of their regular first team on show, but still took the lead on 30 minutes when Max York bundled in from a corner.
The Reds levelled with a goal out of the blue just before half time when Matt Kenneford cut in from the left and his fierce low shot found the bottom corner.
Paul Barnes nearly regained the lead for Biggleswade when he chipped keeper Grant Beckwith but his effort went just wide.
After the break, Langford took the lead on 65 minutes when Louis Taylor crashed home a low drive from outside the area.
The advantage didn’t last long though as five minute later, a free kick into the Langford area fell at the feet of Barnes and he made no mistake from close range.
In the shoot out, both sides missed one apiece before Beckwith saved the last effort to send Langford into the final.
