A merry band of Santas raised more than £1,200 for charity during a fundraising pub crawl.
The group of 47 Father Christmases visited some 10 venues in Biggleswade and Sandy, bringing in £1,272 for the The Muir Maxwell Trust, which supports children with epilepsy.
Fundraisers from Biggleswade Rugby Club took part in its annual charity expedition earlier this month.
Every year a group visits pubs around the area collecting money in buckets for good causes.
The chosen venues this year were The Bell and the William Peel in Sandy, Biggleswade Conservative Club and The Whistle and Flute, New Inn, The Rose, The White Hart, Biggleswade Liberal Club, The Crown and The White Horse in Biggleswade.
Paula Rastrick from the club said: “Everyone we met in Biggleswade and Sandy was very generous, and we would like to thank the pubs who either gave us the drinks for free or sold them at very low prices.
“The Trust is a charity that is very close to our hearts as a regular at the rugby club has a very young son who is epileptic.
“Muir Maxwell supplies sensor mattresses to those in need which can help to detect a seizure when it is happening.”
