STUCK for a book? Try the library!
If you find it difficult to choose your next book then Central Beds Council’s Read and Recommend sessions will be just the ticket.
The sessions are designed for adults to visit their local library to discuss what they have been reading with fellow readers.
They are informal and a great opportunity to discuss books, reading and possibly sign up for a reading group.
Sessions will be held on Thursday, August 16 from 10am to 11.30am in Shefford Library, on Tuesday, August 21 from 10.30am to noon in Potton Library and on Thursday, August 23 from 11am to 12.30pm in Biggleswade Library.
There is also a holiday scheme for adults running alongside the children’s reading challenge.
Adults will receive a free DVD, CD, spoken word hire or request after reading four books.
