Sandy Mayor, Will Jackson, will hold a charity race night on Saturday, October 25.
The event will take place at Sandy Upper School from 7pm and all money raised will go to the Mayor’s charities.
This year the charities are the Community Heartbeat Trust, which will enable the Mayor to provide a defibrillator for the town and the World Scout Jamboree, which will help two scouts from the area take part in a worldwide event in Japan next year.
Tickets will cost £10 which includes a Bedfordshire Clanger, jacket potato, salad and dessert.
There will also be a licensed bar at the event for all to enjoy.
