Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice held their annual summer fete last Sunday.
The fun continued despite Hurricane Bertha making an appearance and trying her best to dampen the event.
Despite the less than ideal weather the hospice managed to raise around £14,500.
Although this is only half the amount the hospice raised last year, they are delighted with the local community who braved the rain for a good cause.
You can still show your support by texting THANKS to 78555 to donate £8.
