Arlesey Town ended their four game winless run in the Calor Southern League Premier Division with a 2-0 victory over local rivals Bedford Town on Saturday.
Arlesey made a host of changes as James Hatch became a father, while Barry Hayles was suspended and goalkeeper Jack Bonham returning to Brentford.
In came French keeper Yannick Makiese for his first game in the UK, while Juan Mouko Nsue started up front, and Jamie Carey Morrell settled into right back.
The visitors moved in front on 42 minutes when Jonny McNamara netted with a clinical strike.
After the break it was 2-0 when a great ball in from Jamie Carey Morrell found Juan Mouko Nsue and he prodded into the net.
Arlesey now host Stourbridge on Saturday.
The Blues are also in action on Tuesday night when they visit St Neots Town, now managed by former boss Zema Abbey.
