Biggleswade United were 3-1 winners at Tring Athletic in their Molten Spartan SML League Premier Division clash on Saturday.
Sam Nair opened the scoring for the visitors on eight minutes, while Adam Randall added the second after 19.
Nair then had his second with 30 minutes gone and although Taylor Collins immediately pulled one back for Tring, United held out in the second half to make it just one defeat in their last eight league matches.
Stotfold’s trip to Harefield United was postponed, while in Division One, Langford went down 6-2 at home to Risborough Rangers.
Martin Kenneford put the hosts ahead on four minutes, but Sam Ward (nine) levelled.
Callum Mansell (25), Martin Griggs (27 and 28) saw Rangers 4-1 in front, although Kenneford’s second on 35 gave Langford some hope.
The second period saw Griggs add another two more on 51 and 58 though to seal the triumph.
In ChromaSports & Trophies United Counties League Division One, Potton United’s trip to Eynesbury Rovers was postponed.
