Health services in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes will be the subject of a £3.2m review.
The review will be undertaken by the Beds and Milton Keynes clinical commissioning groups with the support of Monitor, NHS England and the NHS Development Authority.
Monitor believes the £3.2m review is good value for money compared to the local NHS Trusts’ combined annual losses of around £23m.
The review will present options for how the services might adapt and change in the future. There will be input from local communities, clinicians and health care providers.
