Upper school dancers have been selected to perform at the Royal Opera House.
Hannah Thomas is in Year 11 at Sandy Upper School while Courtney Evans and Emma Dickinson are in the school’s Sixth Form. Courtney and Hannah are pictured.
They have been selected to join the Young Creatives Scheme.
Assistant principal Elaine Boyd said: “It’s a scheme for dance choreographers and performers. Fifteen students were chosen nationally and we’ve got three of them.
“They’ve gone through quite rigorous audition process and been selected. This is about highlighting new talent in dance and choreography. Courtney is also on a one year programme with Ballet Boys and she is looking for funding for this.”
They will perform at the Royal Opera House in June.
