Residents in a village awoke to find water flooding down a road on Thursday last week (August 8).
Biggleswade Road in Upper Caldecote was partly flooded after an Anglian Water main burst – leaving 250 homes without water.
The homes were without water until 3.30pm while repairs were carried out.
Properties in Moggerhanger were also affected, as some customers were without water or suffered low pressure until around 8.30am.
Anglian Water spokesman Emma Staples said: “We appreciate how frustrating it is to be without water and would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding while we carried out the repair work.”
“Engineers were quickly sent to the site to repair the leak, which was on a complex section of pipe and a road junction. Water supplies were returned to normal by 3.30pm the same afternoon.
