Arlesey Town won the Red Insure Cup for the first time in their history with a 1-1 draw at Frome Town on Tuesday evening, writes Mike Simmonds.
Chris Dillon’s goal in extra time was enough to secure a 2-1 aggregate win for the Blues who had led 1-0 from the first leg.
Director of football Gary King said: “It caps our season off brilliantly. It’s a great cup for us to win and another box ticked.
“We celebrated and had all the usual champagne, so it was a great night. We’re getting the cup down to our ground on Saturday again as it was a long way for supporters to travel, so we’ll present it again then.”
